About Us: We are a small family-owned real estate company managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties across Germany and the UK.
We are looking for freelance accounting support to assist with rent invoicing, service charge invoicing, and general billing processes for our UK site, which is a Business Park with around 23 office units.
Tasks:
• Prepare and send quarterly rent invoices to tenants
• Prepare and send service charge (operating cost) invoices to tenants
• Manage billing schedules and ensure timely invoicing of service charge providers
• Monitor incoming payments and communicate with tenants if necessary
• Prepare quarterly reviews of Service Expenditure to date
• Prepare a quarterly VAT report
• Uploading Annual Service Charge Budget to tenants- Create service Charge balancing
• Issue payments to suppliers
• Utilities: Invoices: Payments of Business Rates invoices and Utility invoices for empty units
• Work in cooperation with a Property Manager.
• Scope:
- 23 tenants = 23 quarterly invoices of Rent + 23 quarterly invoices of Service Charge
- Service Charge: Approximately 10 continuous suppliers who require monthly payments

Requirements:
• Solid experience in real estate accounting or property management invoicing
• Familiarity with rent and service charge structures
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., i.e Yardi is the software that is currently used)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
