We are a Philadelphia-based running club in need of a new logo! Can you help us?
We are "Old City Run Club" or OCRC. We are a group of like-minded people who enjoy running and staying active, socializing, and just getting out and seeing a bit of the city. We are a free running club that organizes at least one run a week as well as extra social activities. Anyone who turns up is welcome to run with us - we accept all faces and paces but most of us are in our 20s and 30s.
We are seeking a (new) logo design that can help differentiate our club. We would use the logo on social media (Instagram) and for clothing and merch designs.
Run clubs in Philadelphia are pretty localized, and represent different parts of the city. We are the first club in the 'Old City' neighborhood - the historic heart of a historic city. There are cobblestone streets lined with small shops and restaurants, colonial style homes, museums, attractions like Betsy Ross' house (who made the first US flag design) and the area is close to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell etc.
A 'stand in' logo was created by our organizer (attached), but I'd like to have it redesigned before we invest in designing merch.
We're looking for a logo that: - Includes our club name "Old City Run Club" or "OCRC" with our name underneath - Nods to Old City and/or Philadelphia (Incorporating the original Betsy Ross flag is one idea?) - Ideally, it would work as a square logo (such as a design for a pocket space on a shirt) - Likely more interested in a minimalist style (easily readable on Instagram, shirts, hats etc) - Modern feel - High res design files and an editable Photoshop file. - White/black logo files. We don't yet have set brand colors.
We're looking to move quickly so that we can design shirts for an upcoming event.
