I have adapted a free source code from scanapp.org - it uses html5-qrcode.js
I have also slighted altered the code so now when you scan the QR code it loads the web page directly instead of just showing the web address details. I have also changed the code so that it now uses the back camera of a mobile phone instead.
But I need a few other alts to the html5-qrcode.js and my understanding of javascript is not good enough to work it out without making errors, I have tried!
(I have added three photos for reference)
Demo - https://www.eventifyit.co.uk/workingback.html (To see the issue on demo you will need to view it on mobile device - image taken from iPhone 11)
(1) Image 1
This panel shows only if the user has not giving permission to use QR code reader. (All working correctly)
If you have giving permission image 3 will show (qr scanner panel)
Now the issue:
As you can see in the photo on image 3 which is from a mobile phone ( the text below does not show on a desktop computer ) I would like to hide all the text so the white panel below the QR scanner panel ie
Select Camera (5) Back camera - dropdown menu Stop scanning - blue button White panel
- But I do need as shown in Image 1 - Request Camera Permission + image
I think that is it.
Hope this is possible? I don't think it too tricky to do! I just cant workout how to hide it looking at the code!
