My book is inspired by my own personal story weighing 1lbs 4ounces on Valentine’s Day, to ultimately Defying The ODDS after a 5 month hospital stay leaving the hospital weighing exactly 7lbs, 28 years ago.
This illustrated children’s book gives insight into Rebecca's journey in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provides a message to (NICU) parents that through her parents Michael and Sarah's resilience and faith against the odds with Rebecca that they too can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Furthermore, there is a NICU diary at the end of the book for parents to use to document their tots journey, milestone moments and for personal memories.
I want to inspire as many parents of preemies as I can who need hope.
