• Be issued on your firm’s letterhead and signed by a licensed CPA • Confirm my current employment status and explicitly state that I am self-employed, including the exact dates my self-employment began and continues to the present • Contain your contact information so the underwriter can follow up if needed
No income figures are required—this letter is strictly for employment and self-employment date verification to satisfy the loan underwriter’s checklist. I will provide any supporting documents you need (articles of incorporation, tax returns, etc.) as soon as we start.
