Project Overview I need CAD design for the following an adjustable roller stations mounted on parallel rails. All parts should be suitable for 3D printing (FDM). Deliverables: Fusion 360 source files + STL exports for all components
Assembly Overview Two parallel rails hold sliding struts. Each strut pair supports a roller pin with a roller mounted on it. The struts can be repositioned along the rails to adjust spacing between rollers. A chain drive connects gears on the roller pins.
Component Specifications Rails (x2)
Length: 300mm Profile: Channel with lip (see sketch) Spacing: 80mm apart (parallel) Note: Struts slide along rail and friction fit against lip
Struts (x10 — 5 pairs)
Height: 150mm Top: Hole for 608zz bearing (22mm OD, 8mm ID, 7mm thick) Base: Tapered/angled to run against rail lip Fit: Friction fit, adjustable position along rail
Roller Pins (x5)
Length: ~90-95mm (to span 80mm gap plus bearing seats) Middle section: 8mm square profile (roller mounts here) Ends: 8mm diameter round (sits in 608zz bearings) One end: Mount for #25 chain sprocket/gear
Holds the two rails parallel at 80mm spacing Provides stability on desk surface Simple flat plate with mounting points for rails
Hardware (I will source) 608zz bearings (8mm x 22mm x 7mm)
