Project Overview I'm looking for a skilled video editor to transform my 15-minute video sales letter into a high-converting, visually dynamic piece that matches the fast-paced, attention-grabbing style of creators like Alex Hormozi and Ahmad Guzman. This is a talking-head VSL packed with information, steps, and explanations. It needs to be edited in a way that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. What You'll Be Working With
Raw footage of me presenting to camera (approximately 15 minutes) Teal background that needs to be removed/replaced (green screen style keying required) Audio that needs cleanup and enhancement Lighting that may need color correction
Deliverables Video Editing:
Dynamic jump cuts and pacing throughout Kinetic text/typography that reinforces key points Pop-up graphics, callouts, and annotations Smooth transitions and zoom effects (punch-ins, push-ins) Motion graphics and simple animations to illustrate concepts Relevant B-roll integration (you may need to source stock footage) Lower thirds and visual hierarchy for steps/lists Engaging intro and outro
Technical Fixes:
Background removal/replacement (professional composite) Audio cleanup, noise reduction, and leveling Color correction and lighting enhancement Professional color grade
Final Delivery:
1080p or 4K export (we'll discuss) Optimized for online platforms
Ideal Candidate
Strong portfolio showing high-energy, Hormozi-style editing Experience with VSLs, YouTube content, or direct response video Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Understanding of pacing for viewer retention Ability to source and integrate appropriate B-roll Responsive communication and ability to take feedback
