I have a hoarding-behaviour training pack that is almost there: a slide deck, companion handouts and an A5 practical handbook. A previous freelancer built the framework, but I now need an experienced educator–designer to polish every element so it is visually engaging, error-free and evidence-based.
PowerPoint The structure is sound, yet slides are text-heavy and two case studies are mismatched. Please break long slides into clear, concise points and integrate fresh visuals—charts, illustrative images and infographics—so learners absorb key messages at a glance. All statistics must be verified; provide the source for each figure in the presenter’s notes.
Handouts They mirror the deck but carry the same spelling and grammar issues. Proof, tighten wording and match the new slide visuals for consistency. The finished PDFs should be print-ready and screen-friendly.
A5 Practical Handbook I need several additions here: new sections that deepen understanding of hoarding, extra real-world examples and case studies, plus actionable tips and best practices my audience can revisit after the session. While editing, please redesign the hoarding risk-assessment tools so they are clearer and easier to complete in the field. Again, proof every page.
Acceptance criteria • Zero spelling or grammar errors across presenter’s notes, handouts and handbook • Each slide under 40 words with at least one visual on content-dense topics • All statistics referenced in APA or simple URL format within notes • Correct case studies swapped to their rightful slides and handbook sections • Risk-assessment template updated and supplied as an editable form (Word or fillable PDF) • Final deliverables: updated .pptx, print-ready handouts PDF, handbook PDF + native file, separate folder of placed visuals
I work in PowerPoint and prefer Adobe InDesign or Illustrator for the handbook, but I’m open if you can achieve the same polished, professional finish in other industry-standard tools.
