I am looking for a skilled short form video editor to collaborate with me on an ongoing basis. The content is focused on lifestyle, sobriety, alcohol free culture, events, and thought leadership.
You will be editing vertical videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels from raw footage that I shoot. The goal is not just cutting clips, but creating engaging, scroll stopping content with strong pacing, clean subtitles, and a sense of storytelling.
This is a long term collaboration for the right person.
What You Will Be Editing: - Short form vertical videos between 15 and 30 seconds - Talking head content - Event highlights and lifestyle moments - Educational and storytelling based clips - Occasional trend based edits when relevant
What I Am Looking For: - Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels pacing - Ability to create dynamic edits that keep attention in the first 3 seconds - Clean and readable subtitles with good timing - Good sense of rhythm, emotion, and storytelling - Experience with short form social media content - Attention to detail and consistency - Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
Style Reference: - Minimal but engaging - Fast paced without being chaotic - Natural and human - Clean captions, not over designed - Focused on clarity, emotion, and flow - If you already edit content for creators or brands on TikTok or Instagram, that is a big plus.
Tools: You can use Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional tools. What matters is the result, not the software.
Project Structure: This will start with a paid test edit If the collaboration works well, this will become ongoing work with regular videos every week
