Overview This project involves building a WordPress website that accurately reflects the supplied PDF design. The website must be flexible, scalable, and fully editable by the client using Elementor, with reusable components set up efficiently for future updates. The supplied PDF design should be treated as the primary visual and structural reference for the build. Technical Requirements Platform & Page Builder • Build the website using WordPress • Use Elementor as the primary page builder • Ensure layouts, spacing, typography, and styling closely match the supplied PDF design Reusability & Templates • Reusable sections must be built as Elementor templates • Templates should support global updates without breaking individual page layouts Editability • The site must be fully editable by the client • All text, images, icons, buttons, links, and layout elements must be editable within Elementor • Avoid hard-coded content wherever possible Custom Development • Create custom post types where required by the design • Use ACF for custom data structures and repeatable content • Create custom Elementor widgets where native components are insufficient Responsiveness & Testing • Test across desktop, tablet, and mobile before UAT • Confirm layout consistency, typography scaling, spacing, and interactions Staging Environment A staging site will be provided with access to WordPress admin, along with licensed copies of Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). All development must take place on staging prior to UAT.
Design-Specific Notes & Assumptions • Confirm font usage, availability, weights, and hierarchy • Match spacing, padding, margins, and grid consistency • Apply logical responsive behaviour where breakpoints are not explicitly defined • Preserve image ratios and apply appropriate optimisation • Use SVG icons where possible and match visual styling • Implement implied hover states, transitions, and subtle animations where appropriate • Raise any ambiguities or technical concerns before development begins Deliverables • Fully built WordPress website aligned with the supplied PDF design (only to be shared with shortlisted freelancers) • Reusable Elementor templates • Client-editable content throughout • Cross-device and browser testing completed prior to UAT
