We are looking for an experienced Flutter(very very senior) developer to restore and complete the payment functionality in our existing mobile application (iOS and Android). This is a top-priority project that must be finalised as soon as possible.
The project includes restoring Stripe card payments, Apple Pay, and ensuring that all checkout screens operate correctly end-to-end. Our previous developer did not push all code to Git, and some integrations appear incomplete. The developer must review the existing Flutter codebase, identify missing components, and rebuild the entire checkout flow where required.
Additionally, the latest Google Play policy requires our app to support 16 KB memory page sizes. Our current production release does not meet this requirement. The developer must ensure that all new Flutter builds (Android App Bundle) comply with Google’s 16 KB memory page size rules.
Requirements: • Strong Flutter experience (commercial apps) • Stripe for Flutter (PaymentIntent, SetupIntent, card payments) • Apple Pay integration via Stripe (merchant ID, certificates, domain verification) • Ability to connect Flutter apps to Magento REST APIs • Ability to identify missing or uncommitted parts of the inherited codebase • Knowledge of building Android app bundles that support 16 KB memory page sizes • Clean coding standards and documentation
APIs the app must connect to: POST /rest/V1/integration/customer/token POST /rest/V1/carts/mine POST /rest/V1/carts/mine/items GET /rest/V1/carts/mine/totals POST /rest/V1/carts/mine/shipping-information POST /rest/V1/carts/mine/payment-information
Main tasks: 1. Review the current Flutter project and confirm what code is missing/not pushed to Git 2. Reconnect the app to the Magento REST API endpoints 3. Rebuild Stripe card payment flow 4. Rebuild Apple Pay integration 5. Ensure correct checkout behaviour (totals, shipping, payment screens) 6. Ensure the Android build supports 16 KB memory page sizes (Google Play requirement) 7. Test the full order process on iOS and Android 8. Prepare and deliver updated builds for App Store and Google Play
