We’re looking for a skilled full-stack web developer to build a real estate website using Next.js. The platform will display property listings aggregated from major real estate sites like Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin, and populate our own searchable database.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop a responsive, high-performance website with Next.js and modern UI/UX principles. - Implement server-side scraping and/or data integration to pull listings from Zillow, Realtor, and Redfin. - Design and build a structured database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) to store and index property -data. - Create filtering, sorting, and search functionality for listings (by price, location, home type, etc.). - Set up automated data updates and error handling for scraping processes. - Deploy the site to a production environment (e.g., Vercel, AWS).
Requirements: - Proven experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js. - Experience with web scraping tools/libraries (e.g., Puppeteer, Cheerio, Playwright). - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data ingestion pipelines. - Experience with database design and management. - Strong attention to performance, SEO, and responsive design.
Nice to Have: - Experience integrating map APIs (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox). - Background in real estate data or marketplace apps.
