Job Title: Website Security Specialist – One-Time Audit & Fix Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Website Security Specialist to perform a comprehensive one-time security audit of our website and address any vulnerabilities. The goal is to ensure our site is fully secure against potential threats and follows best practices in website security. Responsibilities: • Perform a thorough security audit of the website, including software, plugins, and server configurations. • Identify vulnerabilities such as malware, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and other common web threats. • Fix security issues found during the audit. • Implement best practices for website security, including SSL, firewalls, and secure access controls. • Provide a detailed report of findings, fixes applied, and recommendations for future security improvements. Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in website security and vulnerability management. • Strong knowledge of web application security standards (OWASP Top 10, etc.). • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms. • Familiarity with security tools such as Sucuri, Wordfence, Nessus, or similar. • Ability to complete the project independently and provide clear documentation. Preferred: • Experience with e-commerce websites. • Relevant certifications (CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+).
