We are looking for an experienced WordPress & WooCommerce developer to build a modern, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized eCommerce website for our Health & Personal Care brand.
The website will showcase our products (targeted at US customers aged 25–40) and provide a smooth shopping experience, from browsing to checkout.
Before starting the project, a short kickoff call with our client is required to align on requirements, expectations, and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up WordPress with WooCommerce (latest versions).
Install and configure a professional theme suitable for Health & Personal Care products.
Customize design (branding, colors, fonts, layout) to create a clean, trustworthy, and conversion-focused website.
Set up product categories, product pages, images, descriptions, pricing, and variations.
Configure secure payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and checkout process.
Implement shipping options, taxes, and order management.
Ensure mobile responsiveness, speed optimization, and SEO best practices.
Add basic plugins for security, caching, contact forms, and email opt-ins.
Provide guidance on scalability and future add-ons (loyalty program, subscription plans, etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress & WooCommerce development.
Strong knowledge of eCommerce best practices.
Experience building websites in the Health, Wellness, or Personal Care industry (preferred).
Ability to suggest themes, plugins, and design improvements.
Knowledge of SEO, speed optimization, and security setup.
Good communication skills and ability to deliver within deadlines.
