We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented freelancer to manage the full migration of our website from Wix to Shopify. This is a fixed-price project covering the entire scope of the transfer.
About the Project The goal is a seamless migration that not only preserves our current design and functionality but also retains all the crucial behind-the-scenes SEO elements that support our online visibility and traffic.
Scope of Work Full migration of all website content — including pages, products, and images
Transfer of all SEO settings — meta titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags, page URLs, and keywords
Theme setup and customisation to match our clean, curated brand aesthetic
Configuration of collections, navigation menus, and product categorisation
Transferring all data, including customer information, order history, contact details.
Including any apps and plug ins275
Full setup and testing of the new Shopify site (desktop and mobile)
Implementation of redirects or other best practices to prevent SEO loss
What We’re Looking For Proven experience working with both Wix and Shopify
A solid understanding of SEO best practices during platform migration
Excellent attention to detail — both visually and technically
Ability to work independently and provide clear, proactive communication
A portfolio or examples of previous Shopify projects is highly preferred
