We seek an experienced web developer to audit and update an existing website for a non-profit organization. The current site, www.solutionchapel.org, slider, tags, pages, fast loading, mobile friendly etc was built several years ago and is in need of modernization to improve user experience and functionality. The selected freelancer will conduct a thorough audit of the site to identify any technical issues, broken links, poor page loading speeds, outdated code, or lack of responsiveness across different devices. They will then develop and implement a plan to resolve such problems by leveraging current front-end best practices and technologies. Some specific tasks may include updating the site to be fully responsive, improving site navigation and information architecture, ensuring all pages and content load quickly, fixing any broken functionality, integrating necessary security updates, upgrading outdated plugins or themes, and conducting a seamless migration of existing content to the new updated site structure. Access will be provided to the current site resources, codebase, and content for audit and updating purposes. The goal is to have a faster, more secure, fully functional and modernized website that enhances the user experience and better serves the organization's needs. Strong HTML, CSS and PHP skills are required to successfully complete this project on time and within budget. Only bids providing relevant portfolio and experience working on similar nonprofit sites will be considered.
