I have an existing Next.js project currently running on Node.js v16.20. I need assistance upgrading the project to be fully compatible with the latest Node.js version (v22+), as required by Vercel for deployment.
I'm looking for an experienced Next.js and Node.js developer who can:
Assess and update project dependencies to ensure compatibility with Node.js 22+
Address any breaking changes that arise during the upgrade
Test and verify the application works as expected after the upgrade
Successfully deploy the updated project to Vercel.app
Requirements:
Proven experience with Next.js (preferably v13 or newer)
Solid knowledge of Node.js, especially version upgrades and dependency management
Familiarity with Vercel deployment workflows
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Optional but Nice to Have:
Experience with TypeScript and monorepo setups
Knowledge of package managers like pnpm or yarn
Understanding of build tools like TurboRepo (if used)
