We are seeking a commercially minded part-time, freelance consultant with strong experience in B2B market development, partnership building, and commercial feasibility analysis. You’ll lead an exploratory project to assess and unlock a new B2B revenue stream for established UK travel content products, engaging sectors such as car hire, motorhome manufacturers, campsites, and destination marketing organisations. Your work will directly support the development of a commercial product offering for business partners. Ideally, working two days a week, in line with the project budget, for approximately 22 weeks from September / October to the end of February 2026. Scope to extend this contract on an ongoing basis with a successful pilot and for the right person. The successful candidate MUST be UK based to make sales calls to mainly UK-based prospects. ________________________________________ Scope of Work: Working closely with the Founder, you will be responsible for: 1. Market Mapping & Sizing: • Identify and quantify UK and international B2B markets • Segment target audiences by industry and value chain position. 2. Partner Outreach & Pilot Trials: • Arrange and conduct exploratory meetings with UK potential business partners (targets to be agreed/confirmed.) • Run small-scale pilots/trials to test partner use and gather real-world feedback. • Document sales calls and outcomes, minimum sales calls to be agreed. Fully supported by the Founder to reach success. 3. Conversion to Paid Use: • Aim to convert a minimum of 5 large partner businesses and several smaller partners (to be agreed) into paying customers using the pilot data and relationships established. 4. Feasibility Report & Go-to-Market Plan: • Support the delivery of a detailed commercial feasibility report summarising findings, risks, and opportunities, working with the Founder. ________________________________________ Deliverables: • Market sizing report • Documentation from 5 partner trials • At least 5 confirmed paid B2B customers • Documented achievements and minimum sales calls reached. • Weekly meeting with Founder to discuss outcomes and results. • Final feasibility study ________________________________________ Candidate Requirements: • Proven experience in B2B market research or business development, ideally within travel, leisure, or digital content sectors. • Self-starter, enthusiastic and confident telephone manner. • Comfortable with remote working as well as happy with regular drop-ins. • Strong network or understanding of the leisure and tourism industries is a plus. • Skilled in partnership development. • Confident communicator able to lead exploratory calls and relationship building. • Familiarity with IP/licensing for digital content is desirable. ________________________________________ Planned Budget & Timeframe: • Fixed fee: £6,336 • Estimated time: 352 hours @ £18.95/hour • Please submit your proposal • Project duration: Ideally, end of September / beginning of October until end of February • Remuneration to be invoiced monthly ________________________________________ How to Apply: Please submit: • A short proposal outlining your relevant experience and approach • Any relevant past projects or case studies • Availability and confirmation of ability to meet the project timeline
