I run www.idyllicitaly.co.uk, a WordPress site using WP Rentals as the platform and booking system with custom CSS, showcasing luxury Italian holiday rentals.
Currently, WP Rentals booking functionality exists but has not been configured, so the site does not take bookings online. We require full online booking and payment setup so guests can check availability, book, and pay directly on the site.
Additionally, we want to refresh the design to a clean, modern, luxury aesthetic while retaining all property pages, URLs, and SEO to align with our luxury Italy rentals brand.

Scope of Work
1. Preparation • Perform a full site backup before work begins. • Work on a staging environment.
2. Design Refresh • Redesign the homepage with a hero search bar, featured villas, testimonials, destination grid, “Why Book With Us” section, and clear call-to-action sections. • Refresh the About and Contact pages. • Update header and footer navigation.
3. Styling • Apply a neutral, luxury colour palette. • Use clean, premium typography. • Ensure consistent button styles and spacing throughout.
4. Images • Replace outdated visuals with high-quality Italy imagery. • Optimise images for fast loading.
5. Booking System Setup • Enable online bookings and payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, or UK-friendly alternatives). • Configure automated confirmations, calendar syncing, and notifications. • Fully test the booking and payment flow.
6. Functionality and Testing • Ensure all property pages, search, and booking functions work seamlessly. • Fully mobile-optimised across all devices. • Optimise site speed.
7. SEO Preservation • Retain all current URLs, metadata, internal linking, and alt tags. • Resubmit sitemap post-launch.
8. Go Live • Migrate from staging to live during off-peak hours. • Provide 6 weeks of post-launch support for stability and adjustments.
