Description: We are looking for a Power Systems Research Freelancer to collaborate on writing IEEE-style conference papers in the following areas:
Power Systems Engineering Renewable Energy Integration (Solar, Wind) Grid Stability and Protection ArcFlash Studies
Responsibilities:
Identify a novel topic in the field (we will assist with direction)
Conduct simulations or analytical modeling (e.g., using MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSSE, or Python-based tools)
Validate the model with small-scale analysis or real-world data if available
Write a minimum 5-page IEEE-style paper including full methodology, diagrams, results, and discussion
Format the manuscript per IEEE conference specifications
Requirements:
Background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Energy Engineering
Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, OpenDSS, PSSE, ETAP, or Python)
Previous IEEE-style writing experience is highly preferred
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of IEEE standards for smart grid systems
Experience integrating AI/ML models in electrical system simulations
Familiarity with renewable integration case studies or DER systems
Deliverables: Fully formatted IEEE-style research paper (minimum 5 pages) Simulation files or scripts with video demo of results Relevant graphs, figures, tables, and supporting materials
