We are seeking a talented graphic designer to conceptually update and modernize the logo design for a prestigious military boarding school founded in the early 1900s. The current insignia feels dated and in need of a fresh new look that retains the tradition and legacy of the institution whilst resonating more compellingly with today's audiences.
The successful candidate will carefully analyze the history and ethos and image that the school aims to project. They will thoughtfully reimagine the key elements and symbols in a minimal yet strikingly impactful new configuration. The redesigned logo should feel classic yet contemporary, project qualities of excellence, discipline, and heritage through its visual language and execution. Strong typographic and graphic design skills are essential to craft a timeless mark that will stand the test of time for many years to come.
The designer will be expected to provide 2-3 concept designs within a 2 week period for consideration and feedback. Upon approval of a final concept, they will deliver the logo artwork in all necessary digital formats for official and marketing usage. A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in rebranding efforts for similar institutions and creating memorable logos will be highly valued. Creativity, professionalism and ability to work within our brand guidelines are key qualities we seek in the right candidate.
