Description: |
Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks I'm looking for an experienced UI/UX dashboard designer to create a clickable prototype (or visual mockup) of a 5-screen internal strategy dashboard.
This is about summarising and visualising strategic information simply and clearly for business leaders — not heavy data reporting.
You’ll have an Excel spreadsheet of dummy data and a clear outline of what each dashboard screen needs to show.
Ultimately, this dashboard will be built into Power BI (or similar), but this first version is about nailing the layout, visuals, intuitive navigation, and screen logic.
Prioritise clarity and intuitive navigation over visual complexity.
What I'll Provide:
A structured Excel spreadsheet with dummy data (already split into simple tables)
Brand colour palette and style guide
A detailed outline of the 5 screens needed
What I Need From You:
1. Create a polished, professional dashboard prototype (5 screens)
2. Use our brand colours and create a clean, modern, easy-to-navigate look
3. Deliver a clickable or visual prototype (Figma, Sketch, XD, Tableau Public, or similar)
4. Provide a short walkthrough (written or video) explaining the design and layout choices
Outcome:
A visual or clickable prototype of the dashboard
Ready for handoff to a Power BI developer later
Ideal Fit:
Strong experience designing business dashboards or strategic reporting visuals
Skilled in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Tableau Public
Clean, modern design sensibility — able to highlight insights without overwhelming with data
Understands strategic reporting and familiarity with Power BI structures - nice to have
Able to work collaboratively and share early-stage drafts for feedback
Can deliver a first version quickly - max within a week
Note: We’re happy to take expert direction — if you see opportunities to improve screen flow, filters, or layout, we’re open to your suggestions.
Our main goal is a dashboard that feels intuitive, scalable, and business-ready. |
