Expected duration: Ongoing We're a purpose-driven online conservation organisation seeking a UK-based Chartered Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA) to manage all aspects of company finances on a monthly retainer.
You’ll lead on:
* Ensuring the company is fully compliant with all relevant UK tax, VAT, payroll, and company law regulations. * Full bookkeeping (Xero migration from QuickBooks) * Quarterly VAT returns (incl. reverse charge handling) * Annual accounts and CT600 * Monthly payroll and director remuneration strategy * Quarterly financial reporting and insights * Annual self-assessments and personal tax planning (2 directors)
We’re seeking someone who drives the reporting process, keeps us on track, and removes stress from financial deadlines.
Experience with Xero, Stripe/PayPal reconciliation, and tools like Dext or Synder preferred. We’ll involve our current accountant in the shortlisting and handover.
