We are developing a groundbreaking series of 20 dynamic undergraduate core textbooks for an online platform. These are not traditional textbooks—they are interactive, AI-enhanced digital resources that integrate real-time updates, course materials, latest research, images, and videos to create a rich, engaging learning experience.
We have already processed raw content for 20 full textbooks (covering 8,000 topics) and used AI to generate structured summaries, learning analogies, and concise explanations for the first five. However, we aim to go bigger and more comprehensive by producing extended, high-quality versions using AI while maintaining academic rigor and readability.
We are looking for an experienced education/e-learning professional to oversee and refine this process, ensuring the AI-generated content meets academic standards and user engagement expectations.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the development and enhancement of AI-generated textbooks for an online learning platform. Edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness. Manage the editorial workflow, ensuring all 20 textbooks are systematically improved and finalized. Implement dynamic content updates, incorporating new research, multimedia elements, and interactive features. Work collaboratively with AI developers, content teams, and platform designers to optimize user experience. Ensure consistency across all textbooks, maintaining a structured, engaging, and easy-to-navigate format. Estimate and manage editing workload, with approximately 2,000 topics taking ~3 hours to review and refine. Report progress and collaborate with a line manager, ensuring project goals and deadlines are met. Ideal Candidate Experience in education, e-learning, or digital publishing (e.g., instructional design, curriculum development, content editing). Strong understanding of academic writing, pedagogy, and online learning methodologies. Familiarity with AI-generated content and its limitations (experience with AI-assisted workflows is a plus). Ability to manage large-scale content projects, ensuring high-quality editorial outcomes. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with evolving content needs.
