I need an experienced freelancer to revamp our newsletter's structure, layout, and design to enhance readability, engagement, and brand consistency and link it with my articles and guides.
I have long-form articles, short how-to guides and a newsletter for email marketing.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in newsletter design, WordPress customisation, and a strong understanding of email marketing best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Redesign the structure and layout of our newsletter for improved readability and engagement. Ensure the new design aligns with our brand identity and enhances the user experience. Implement the new layout within WordPress, ensuring compatibility with our existing site and email marketing tools. Optimise the newsletter for mobile and desktop viewing. Recommend and implement design best practices to increase open and click-through rates. Provide guidance on template reusability for future newsletters.
Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in designing high-quality newsletters. Strong proficiency in WordPress (theme customisation, page builders, and email integrations). Expertise in HTML & CSS for email design and WordPress customisation. Experience working with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or ConvertKit. Understanding of UX/UI principles for newsletter engagement. Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing layouts. Portfolio of past newsletter and web design work.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in B2B marketing and designing for professional audiences. Knowledge of email deliverability best practices. Experience working with automation workflows in email marketing platforms. Project Scope & Deliverables Audit & Recommendations: Review existing newsletter design and suggest improvements. New Layout Design: Develop a refreshed structure and layout in line with best practices. Implementation in WordPress: Ensure seamless integration with our website and email tools. Testing & Optimisation: Validate responsiveness and functionality across devices and platforms.
