We are seeking a skilled digital animator to bring our Stickman character "Scully" to life for the audio/animation series and audiobook adaptation of Don't Be A Scully. This project combines humor, wit, and emotional storytelling to address impactful topics like mental health and knife/gun crime, using Scully as a relatable and engaging character.
Key Responsibilities: - Create stickman animations that align with the narration script, emphasizing humor, wit, and emotional depth. - Incorporate moving text and captions into animations to enhance the storytelling experience. - Sync animations with the AI voice-over narration (text-to-speech script provided). Using AI voice-over with license commercial agreement only - Ensure animations are optimized for social media platforms like TikTok (30–60 seconds) and YouTube (5–10 minutes).
What We Provide - Narration scripts in chapters, taken directly from the book Don't Be A Scully. - Excerpts from the book for sample animations and voice testing.
Requirements: - Experience in 2D stickman animation or similar minimalistic styles. - Ability to convey complex emotions (humor, sadness, suspense) through simple animations. - Proficiency in animation tools like Adobe After Effects, Stick Nodes, or equivalent software. - Familiarity with syncing animations to audio for a cohesive storytelling experience.
Voice-Over Sample Requirement: - To ensure quality and alignment with the character, applicants must provide a short sample of AI voice-overs using the following excerpt from Don't Be A Scully:
Project Details: - Short animations for TikTok (30–60 seconds). - Longer episodes for YouTube (5–10 minutes or longer). - Ongoing collaboration with potential for expanded work as the series gains traction.
