We require an experienced mascot designer/vector illustrator to create a professional, simple mascot design for our company Red Eagle Tech in 6 different poses. This mascot will be part of the branding for a product launch which will have its own website. Our choice of mascot is a friendly eagle.
We will provide some existing concept sketches. We require the eagle to be fairly simple and will also provide some example screenshots from another tech company. We need several poses as detailed below and require the mascot to be fairly simple (not overly detailed). In this listing I've included one of the eagle sketches, because we quite like the idea of this cute, friendly baby eagle.
Project Requirements: -Create a friendly, professional eagle mascot based on provided concept sketches. The eagle must not be a typical 'predatory/angry' looking eagle, but one that looks welcoming, friendly, fun but simple and not corny, unique, and memorable. -The eagle should use our company colours as per our branding guidelines, which we'll provide. -We only require a SIMPLE looking mascot, nothing overly fussy or too much. -Design a few different poses/expressions for use in different areas on the website, see below. -Deliver in vector format, clean and scalable.
The poses should include: 1. Primary welcome pose (e.g. use on hero section of webpage) friendly, welcoming. 2. Expert/helper pose (e.g. for our product information page or blog how-tos) maybe with headset/pointing wing/ demonstrating. 3. Celebration pose (e.g. for submission of contact form/demo booking) we don't really like the idea of the eagle with a thumbs up or wing-thumb, but open to suggestions 4. Compact version (just the head e.g. for navbar or small spaces). Maybe within a circle. 5. Something that demonstrates being 'fast' for highlighting the speed of the product, like in flight or speed. Maybe just the eagle clearly in flight? 6. Error page pose.
Required Skills: Expert level Adobe Illustrator proficiency Strong experience in mascot/character design Ability to maintain consistent character design across multiple poses
Timeline: by this Thursday 23rd January 1700 GMT (due to our product website launch deadline being on Friday, so if it can be done sooner than that, bonus points).
Please include examples of similar mascot/character designs. Please be prepared to work with us to fine-tune it if necessary.
