Expected duration: less than 1 week We are seeking an experienced Wix developer to help set up a fully functional, user-friendly Members Area on our existing Wix website. The Members Area will cater to different user roles and access levels, including free login codes, paid memberships, and community features, while integrating subpages for specific topics and resources. This role focuses on implementing functionality and structure, as the design and branding will be handled in-house.
Scope of Work Core Responsibilities Configure Login Functionality and User Roles:
Set up user roles for both free and paid members. Enable access for: Client Full Access: In-person clients with free, full access. Paid Members: Users purchasing individual sections or full memberships. Implement functionality for free login codes for clients. Set Up Pricing Tiers and Payment Options:
Integrate Wix’s Pricing Plans App for multiple membership levels. Configure payment processing and ensure secure transactions. Test and implement discount codes for special offers or member benefits. Develop and Customise a Community Feature:
Add a community discussion space using Wix Forums or Wix Groups. Ensure forums are accessible based on membership type. Organise Subpages and Content Access:
Create and organise subpages for different behaviour topics and resources. Set up restricted access based on user roles and permissions. Test and Optimise Features:
Ensure seamless user experience, from login to payment and content access. Test permissions, payment gateways, and free login code functionality. Troubleshoot and fix any technical issues during development. Page Structure Main Pages These pages will be accessible from the main navigation menu.
Pet Parent Hub: Landing page for pet owners, featuring resources and information. Community Discussion: A central space for forums or group interactions. Exclusive Offers: A page showcasing discounts, promotions, and member benefits. Subpages These pages provide detailed content and are nested under the main pages.
Behaviour Challenges: Resources for specific challenges such as: Reactivity (dogs or people). Aggression in the Home. Separation Anxiety. More as defined by the project. Professional Members Area: Content tailored to trainers and industry professionals, with: Navigation buttons/links to: Community Discussion. Member Discounts. Resources and Learning Modules. Mentorship Tiers (basic, medium, premium). Referral Pathways to other professionals or services. Ideal Candidate Proven experience with Wix website development, especially members area setup. Strong knowledge of Wix Apps such as Pricing Plans, Forums, and Groups. Ability to implement user roles and permissions for complex access requirements. Experience with integrating payment gateways and discount code functionality. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering a seamless user experience. Strong communication skills for regular updates and collaboration. Deliverables Fully configured Members Area with: Distinct user roles and permissions. Working pricing plans and payment options.
