We are looking for a talented data scientist to help us build and refine our algorithms and modelling processes to enable marketing teams to gain actionable insights without needing any technical knowledge. The ideal candidate would have a passion for mathematics, some experience undertaking statistical or data science techniques for analysis, and an understanding in machine learning and automation. You would be working closely with every member of our team, particularly our Technical Lead. The ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience is highly desirable. Some marketing experience is desirable but not necessarily.

Key responsibilities: • Develop and optimise unique algorithms that automate complex statistical and analytical processes • Develop optimisations to Onlyscience codebase • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and scale algorithms in a production environment • Apply machine learning, statistical models, and predictive analytics to solve key business problems related to marketing effectiveness/performance • Produce model comparison checks as part of the iterative modelling process • Assist in the development of a LLM for the production of actionable insights • Look to continuously monitor and improve the quality of models and data pipelines
Additional Responsibilities: • Work closely with the technical lead • Work on data science project repositories • Collaborate with engineering and customer-facing teams • Be comfortable pitching and challenging ideas
Tech stack: • Python for DatSci • Comforable with associated Python libraries for data science (e.g. Tensorflow, Matplotlib, Spicy etc.) • Cloud infrastructure experience (any of: GCP, Axure, AWS) • Experience managing databases (BigQuery / SQL) • Git version control. Hosting via GitHub or equivalent • Jest, Cypress, or equivalent testing tools
