My growing company is seeking an experienced consultant to update and enhance our operations manual. The current manual, last revised in January 2024, requires revisions to document changes in our processes and procedures over the past year.
The updated manual will continue to serve as an essential onboarding and training tool for new hires, outlining our core operations and policies in a clear, organized format. Several introductory sections and standard policies need only minor edits. However, the bulk of the content focuses on specialized workflows for order fulfillment, customer service, and facilities maintenance—areas that have evolved significantly.
An ideal candidate will have mult-year experience administering business operations or a similar role. This will enable a methodical review and translation of practical knowledge into structured documentation. The selected individual should demonstrate exemplary writing and research abilities to compose fresh text in an easy-to-understand style. Discretion is expected regarding confidential business details uncovered during the update process.
Accuracy is paramount when documenting regulated and technical procedures. The consultant may need to interview staff by phone for clarification. Final approval and light formatting assistance prior to delivery may also be required. Revisions will be accommodated to achieve the highest standards.
The completed manual will continue empowering new and existing employees with a shared understanding of workflows, policies, and best practices. It is imperative that the updated operations guide reflects our enhanced processes
