We are looking for experienced leadership to direct marketing for two of our companies: Compass Classroom and Is Genesis History?
The director needs to be a communications professional, have a developed Christian worldview, and have a solid understanding of e-commerce product marketing with the ability to research and learn the world of homeschooling and creation science, if not already familiar. At Compass Classroom, we market primarily to women who oversee their children’s education so voice and authenticity are paramount. At Is Genesis History, we market our videos and products to an older audience.
This position is preferably for someone who lives in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area and can thrive in a remote working environment. Full Time
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee email marketing, its writing, and execution - Oversee social media, its advertising, campaigns, and analytics - Understand and implement solid SEO - Understand Google Analytics and other tracking tools - Understand and implement marketing funnels, drip campaigns, and upselling - Branding, art direction, and an eye for design
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strategic Planning - Budget planning and management - Creative campaign development - Project management - Email marketing / Email design, development, and their platforms - Website CMS: WordPress, Woocommerce, and Shopify - Social media strategies - Media Planning - Self-motivated. Proactive, not reactive - Strong communication with a focus on collaboration - Writing, grammar, vocabulary, and voice
What to Expect: - This is a full-time position with pay based on experience. - Develop ideas for new marketing, sales processes, and improve current strategies toward new audiences - Attend and plan discussion points for weekly team meetings; manage marketing project platform (Trello) and assign tasks to marketing team members - Help plan and make recommendations/requests for new marketing assets, such as ad graphics, email graphics, PDFs, and website design changes - Collaborate with ads manager to create or adjust strategies, plan creative, review ads for congruence with brand style/voice, and review ad data results - Collect and analyze data into Google Sheets and other reporting software to include: ads results, sale results, and other reports for specific needed analysis and KPIs
