For our lightspeed shop in iPhones, we would like to compare all competitors in the CMS that must be built by you.
The competitors must be crawled via a comparison website (they are all on one page), and all the different models and types of iPhones must then be compared on price, compared to our price.
We then want to have the following buttons in the CMS, which is linked via an API to our Lightspeed shop:
- For each model, for example iPhone 14 128 (color does not matter, prices are all the same), there should be a button where we can variably set the prices of this model to be 5 euros below the cheapest provider from the crawler in our Lightspeed CMS. via the API.
- There must be an overview of who the competitors are (for example the 2 lowest priced per model, and what their price is).
- There must be a red or green "light" per model. Green if we are the cheapest provider, red if we are not the cheapest with that model.
- The aim is to be the cheapest on the market.
- When the crawler notices that there has been a price change that works to our disadvantage (so someone has set cheaper prices than us), an email must be sent immediately with a button so that we can immediately become the cheapest from the email. with -1 or -5 euros (adjustable) on that model, which we are no longer the cheapest.
And the following functionalities:
- An overview of the processes that are running;
- Settings how often the crawler runs and at what times;
- Logs to see what information has been retrieved and what changes it has led to;
- A button to manually activate the crawler and update and retrieve the prices once
Furthermore, the system will crawl certain websites based on pre-entered input to see what prices have been awarded to products. The system will then compare the product name and price with the products and their prices on our website and adjust if necessary.
In order to be the first to have the right prices, I think it is useful to check with certain competitors whether they keep a change history somewhere that is visible. Some shops work with an RSS feed in which changes can be found. This way you don't have to visit the entire website, but you can immediately retrieve the daily changes.
