As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality documentation and content that is critical to our client's success. Your role will encompass various aspects of technical writing, including IT Strategic Plans, Assessments, RFPs, marketing materials, presentations, and proposals to potential clients. You will work closely with our consultants, project managers, and clients to craft compelling documents that effectively convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. You will also need to culminate and analyze data for our deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with subject matter experts, consultants, and project managers to gather and understand technical information and project requirements. Create, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including IT Strategic Plans, Assessments, RFPs, marketing materials, presentations, and proposals. Analyze and assess data from our toolsets to support the narrative of the document and make it easy for the reader to comprehend. Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for a non-technical audience. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, well-structured, and aligns with industry best practices. Review and proofread documents to ensure they are error-free and consistent in tone and style. Work within deadlines and project timelines to deliver documents and proposals in a timely manner. Contribute to the development and maintenance of document templates and best practices for documentation. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a management technology consulting or IT environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong business analyst skills, with fluent data analysis background Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation. Familiarity with project management methodologies and terminology. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
Knowledge of IT and management technology concepts, including IT strategy, business process optimization, and technology assessments. Experience working with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and proposal development. Knowledge of marketing and branding principles to create compelling marketing materials. Job Type: Contract
