We have a private membership where we host weekly calls via zoom. The recordings are then posted as a blog on our website, via Squarespace.
Since Dec 4th, these pages and their recordings have been added to Google Podcasts weekly as podcast episodes.
The podcasting setting on Squarespace, via blog settings, is turned off and was turned off when we discovered this was happening, on the 17th of April.
We have stopped posting our blog pages/recordings to Squarespace as of May 2nd.
We have no idea how this has happened and how to remove them and prevent it from continuing to happen
We don’t believe and haven’t come across the Collective Call Recordings/blog posts being published on any other podcasting platform/service other than Google Podcasts
There doesn’t seem to be a way we can contact Google Podcasts directly to ask them to remove the podcast
Squarespace has suggested turning the page to private, but this is not a solution for us. We use a membership platform called Memberspace.
What we are after:
We would like the podcast + all episodes removed from Google Podcast and also to prevent this from happening again
And if possible to understand why this has happened
Budget: $50
