I manage multiple woocommerce websites built in DIVI (as well as many brochure style sites). 100+ sites.
All sites have a mix of plugins including WP Rocket and other optmisation tools. The eCommerce sites have a range of premium eCommerce plugins such as Yith Ajax Search etc.
Most WP Rocket settings are used (but only on a basic level). Images are smushed and converted where possible using Smush Pro.
Long term i'm looking to be able to hand all optimiaation to someone capable on each project. Some will be very simple and others more complex.
Initially I am looking for someone to assist in the optimisation of a problematic single Woocommerce site built in DIVI that is slow to load especially on the product pages and very slow on the search.
It runs a lot of plugins and is currently on its own UK VPS server.
I need someone to work on this site asap. I will provide the details to anyone enquiring who is suitable.
I have been looking at alternative search options and it would be fine to change this but mabny of the other plugin are essential to the clients requirements so it is a case of making these work as best they can. Again im happy to change plugins if there is a better option. I have also just arranged for Memcached object caching to be installed on this server. This is not yet setup on wordpress but im hoping this will be effective at speeding up the database enquiries.
The overall aim is to make this run as fast as possible and possible provide the client with other suggestions that could enhance speeds (such as siteground/ a CDN etc) and the costs of such extras.
Any optimisation changes would have to be done in a way that preserves those speed changes when i do future wordpress, plugin and theme updates.
There will be many other opportunities for optimisation after this first site is adequately optmisied.
