Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks You will be responsible for the direct marketing of one of the UK's first in-person conferences since the January lockdown. Using direct and social media channels - Twitter, LinkedIn, email and web advertising - you will establish this event as one of the premier gatherings for business and civic leaders.
Over two full days, on June 8th and 9th, leaders from across the country will come together to discuss the longer-term opportunities to fix urban society following the global interruption caused by COVID-19. We will begin by examining the current state of recovery, public opinion and business sentiment, moving on to address the major challenges and opportunities created by accelerated urbanisation. This spans social inclusion, green recovery and achieving a more balanced economy across the nations and regions of the UK.
Confirmed speakers include some of the UK's more high profile leaders including John Allan, Chair, Barratts and Tesco; Alex Hill, CEO of AEG Europe; Ben Page, CEO, Ipsos MORI; Helen Dickinson, CEO, BRC, Kate Nicholls, CEO of UK Hospitality, and and many others including government leaders currently inhibited by the restriction during local elections.
In terms of COVID-19 safety protocols, the venue – One Great George Street - will be COVID-19 secure and pre-event testing and recommended safety measures will be in place. In the unlikely scenario that reopening is delayed by the Government, then it will be postponed to the 6th and 7th July, and again, to the 7th and 8th September.
Your objective will be to run our marketing campaign to achieve 150 conference bookings.
