I am seeking an experienced and creative Wordpress expert to build out a Blog site for me.
The domain name is ready and Wordpress default installation has been done already. What I need is for your expertise to make my blog site beautiful and easy for me to use.
This is a cPanel site at this stage.
The scope would include:
* Choose and implement an appropriate theme and colour scheme
* Work with me to design and implement a logo (I do not have one designed at this point)
* Implement a number of default pages including:
- Home page
- Blog pages (public), ability for blogs to contain text & image content, video and audio
- Blog pages (membership) ability for blogs to contain text & image content, video and audio
- Ability to categorise blogs
- About us page
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
- Terms and Conditions of use
- Contact form
- Membership subscription - single tier (users are either public or members)
- Ability for members to sign up and log in via social credentials (LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Twitter)
- Ability for members to comment on blogs
- Ability for admin to curate & moderate blog comments
- Payment gateway for membership subscription
- Ability to send newsletters to members
- Ability to categorise or show the most popular articles
- SEO for the site, without having to perform much ongoing maintenance
- Connection to social networks - Linkedin, twitter, facebook, RSS
- Site to be responsive (ability to use on mobile devices easily)
- Ability to include advertising (eg Adsense) within the site for Non-Members
- Ability to remove advertising for paid members
- Ability for me to have a mirror site as a test/dev site (maybe on my laptop)
- Ability to have mutiple contributors to the blog
- I am also open to hearing your ideas to make the site great
