I think I have a pretty simple request. I will provide a short background of what I need this animation for.
I am a huge soccer (footie) fan - especially a fan of USA's professional league, MLS. I want to become an MLS analyst as that is what I am in college for. Specifically I will analyze my hometown team, Houston Dynamo
I need a short animation as an intro to my youtube channel.
My whole vibe is that I am the "detective" of the Dynamo, with my personality being "Detective Dynamo"
I have my logo for my profile picture on both youtube, twitter, and instagram already made, and I will send the file. I would like to incorporate the logo in the animation.
I would like the animation to give off a mobster / al capone / sherlock holmes/ noir type "vibe".
My logo contains detective character and I want the character to be portrayed as that.
As for the animation, I want the picture to initially show just a wall, maybe a brick wall. Then I want my character to appear first by walking from the right side of the screen into the scene facing the side with his hands in his trench coat pockets. Then he turns around and spray paints the logo on the wall behind him. And then I want my character to move away from the logo so it is now visible but still remain in the picture. (im not sure how I want his positioning to be. Best case scenario is that he is leaning against the wall with his back). Then I want my character to pull out a pipe and put it to his mouth (I do not want him exhaling smoke I just want the pipe there for the purpose that it's very synonymous with a detective. I want my character to start walking from the right side of the screen.
I would prefer I 2D animation style. I got my inspiration from this scene in the "Pink Panther. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z17S2Hyg78E&t=185s
starting precisely at the 2 minute mark
I want the animation to be very cartoonish
And that's it. The style can be like that from the time of pink panther.
