About the business The site is an education and career transformation platform that provides training and work experience for customers who want to become scrum masters. Customers receive an initial two-day intensive course and then work on real projects using the scrum framework to enable them to gain experience. Target Audience The target audience is people looking to change career. As the training is in the evening its give people the opportunity to train alongside other commitments eg work and children. The platform has a heavy customer base of people from a black and ethnic minority. Goals for the new site There is a currently has active website but it doesn’t meet the standard required to drive business, explain the service clearly enough and capture the vision of the platform in a way that makes it look professional and desirable to customers. The goal of the new website is to remedy all of these issues. Look and Feel
The aim for this website is a professional look and feel, that capture the diversity and community feel of the platform. The message of what the product is and does need to be clear and it should be user friendly and easy to navigate.
Features and requirements
The project requires someone to provide static designs for the pages of the website. The company has an inhouse developer for the functionality aspects of the project so design for structure and aesthetics is what we are looking for. The stakeholder also desires animated videos for the site, describing scrum and for the homepage. A new logo will also be required. Hosting and Support The current website is a wordpress but the stakeholder has voiced a desire to move away from the as the themes look to generic and lack individualism. The inhouse developer has said he will start a new html and java script website.
