I am running a podcast platform website, and I need help fixing a CORS error we have:
Request x is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers
The bug prevents our frontend from returning data. Should be a simple fix. This bug happens on: - iOS 12.3, Safari, iPhone 6s - iOS 12.4.9, Safari, iPhone 6s - Samsung Internet Browser, Samsung Galaxy S9+
If you have one of these devices, even better. It works on iPhone 11 Pro (the difference between iPhone 11 Pro and the above devices are attached). It also works on desktop on all browsers. Here are some StackOverflow links of developers with the same problem:
We added in a whitelist to allow the header, but it didn't work (screenshot of code attached - maybe something there is wrong)
IMPORTANT: There will be more work available after this. Therefore, I want to hire for the long-term. This is a bug that many can fix, but I am more interested in the person's skills and availability.
Requirements: - Highly skilled with Laravel & PHP - Tests your own code to see if it works - Good English - High availability (a full time role is available in the future months) - Able to have regular video calls - Does not give up on problems easily
Preferred: - Tests your own code and bug fixes - Stripe Billing/Checkout/Payments API experience - Open-minded, experimental, committed, and focused - Willing to spend time reading documentation
Non-essential but desired: - Basic React JS knowledge
