Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks This project entails developing a professional set of permit-ready blueprints from a complete set of hand drawn house plans. The plans are for a single-family residence to be built in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. Square footage information is shown on the floor plans. The plans have been drawn on graph paper at an 1/8- inch scale and will need to be drawn at an 1/4-inch scale. Site Plan and Land Clearing plans are drawn at 1/16-inch scale and will need to be drawn at an 1/8-inch scale. The hand drawings also include cross sections and details of certain features that are already drawn to the appropriate scales and will be drawn at the indicated hand drawn scale. Plans should include page borders, title blocks, etc. and arranged to be printable on 36 x 42-inch paper. Below is a list of all hand drawn sheets.
1. Floor Plan - 1st Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 2. Floor Plan - 2nd Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 3. Foundation Plan (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 4. Column & Beam Plan (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 5. Roof Truss Plan (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 6. Floor Deck Plan – 2nd Floor ((Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 7. Electrical Plan - 1st Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 8. Electrical Plan - 2nd Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 9. HVAC Plan – 1st Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 10. HVAC Plan - 2nd Floor (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 11. Plumbing Riser (Not to Scale) 12. Front Elevations (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 13. Right Elevations (Drawn @ 1/8", Convert to 1/4") 14. Electric Load Calculations & Panel (Include on Electrical Plan, page 6, if possible) 24. Schedule of Lintels & Wood Headers (Include on Column & Beam Plan, Page 4, if possible) 25. Schedule of Interior Doors
Since pages 15 through 20 are already drawn to scale, elements on these pages may be combined together to fill up the 36 x 42 size sheets.
Several pictures are attached to provide drawing samples; however, since this website limits the number of uploads to 3 items, a complete set of drawings (24 images) has been uploaded to the file share website GE.TT. These files can be accesses at the at the following links until January 11, 2021:
(1) Floor Plans (10 images) http://ge.tt/9tsRoY93 (2) Elevations & Section Details (10 images) http://ge.tt/9OVmqY93 (3) Site Plan and Other (4 images) http://ge.tt/2fUOrY93
The selected respondent will be provided electronic files of all pages in PDF format. Items 23 through 25 will also be provided in Excel file format (.xlsx) (except for electrical symbol legend, which will be in PDF only). CAD drawings must be completed in DWG format (AutoCAD). Due to difficulty with precision in hand drawing to a 1/8-inch scale, the drawing scale may not be exact and CAD drawings scale should reflect the stated dimensions on the drawings in cases of scale discrepancies. The deliverable will be the electronic CAD file DWG files (AutoCAD versions between 2018 and 2021) from which paper blueprints can be printed. Deliverable product will also include providing PDF file(s) created by converting the DWG files into PDF file format. Revisions are anticipated to be needed after review of initial product and respondent should include 2 rounds of revisions in their cost proposal. Revisions are also anticipated after engineering review, but these revisions will be done under a separate engagement and not part of the scope of this project.
This is a fixed price project. Respondents should provide the following information in their proposals: • Credentials and experience in doing this type of work. • Samples of work products completed for similar type projects. • Version of AutoCAD software you will be using for the project • Availability and time frame for completing the project. • Fixed price proposal. • Responses to the "Get to Know Freelancer questions".
Proposal selection will be based on considering all the above factors with the most weight placed on experience and skill level in drawing similar type architectural CAD drawings. I look forward to receiving your proposals. I plan to select the successful candidate within 1 to 2 weeks. Thank you for considering my project.
