Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks Menu Online The task will be a 3 pages website as a support of a running app and add 3 pages on the existing administration website. The objective is that Customers can access the menu online of the venue or business visiting (i.e.: Restaurant, Health Spa, Clinic, Bar...).
The Project It is big project and there is a lot to be done, this is a very small task inside it. This service is to provide Businesses with a digital version of their menus online for the Clients to check on any browser and make a selection to facilitate the ordering process. This version will not include payment but the successful candidate will be assigned also the task to develop the payment and the dashboard for Business to deal with orders if want to work on it.
We have the database, we have the design, the candidate needs only to add the API Services for this part to an existing Node.js Express API.
The pages should be developed in React Native and will be to show the menu of the business you are in and the client can make selections as trolley order (payment not in this version). The selection will be stored in the database but it will last only for the session. The webpage will be accessible through 3 main routes: - QR code: each Business will have their own personal QR code, that will be printed and displayed outside the premises of the Business; by scanning it, Clients will be redirected to the Business’ web menu. - Web link: underneath the Business’ QR code there will be also the URL of the Business web menu; this URL will have as subdirectory either the name of the business or an identification alphanumerical code; Clients will be able to type in the search bar of their browser this URL and land on the Business web menu. Eventually there will be three routes: QR code, URL with Business name and URL with Business identification code. The admin part will have the CRUD pages for Category/Subcategory, products/items and view Orders.
The candidate The candidate should pass a TEST. Looking for the right candidate has been tough, I already passed through several bad experiences, even with those that in some way got to have 5 stars. I am looking for a freelancer or a group of freelancers, I DO NOT wish to work with companies, I do not like the disconnection between commercial pushing for money and not having any technical background. I will do the project management and I want to work only with developers directly and have daily deliveries and VIDEO calls.
Payment I will NOT pay in advance or in exchange to deliver code, this platform does not allow that, any attempt will lead to the immediate termination of the project. I pay for work DONE, DONE means the work installed and working on my localhost and connected to my local (or remote) SQL Server database as agreed in the milestones we will be having, then the payment. The project will be divided in 2 milestones.
