StoryPorts is an email marketing platform that enables non-email marketers (think interns, regular marketers, etc) to easily build and manage emails and email campaigns for their organization without needing to know any HTML or other coding. With StoryPorts the user can add any content (blog, article, RSS, social,images, videos etc. etc.) to their email and perfect the design elements (layout, branding, color, font size etc.) to fit their organizations needs. We have a variety of in-app tools to help marketers solve any email problem such as language translators, marketing automation through real-time triggers, customizable designs, search & clip content capabilities, device-aware Calendar Email links and Litmus testing options and in addition to our drag & drop email builder... these all need to be documented! We are relaunching our platform in January and we will need stellar User Documentation to accompany it!
We are looking for an experienced or quick learning and self-driven technical writer to create user documentation for the entire StoryPorts App. It's a non-technical app whose documentation should reflect that, any technical parts should be easily translated for non-technical users.
We anticipate that the User Documentation will be anywhere from 40-50 articles. We're looking to have the first draft completed by December 2020.
Skills the project requires:
- Expertise in technical writing/ user documentation
- Our company targets email marketing users so it would be helpful if you are familiar with email marketing or other saas companies.
-Proof reading and editing abilities.
-Attention to detail a must.
