Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks Pushbullet is an existing service that forwards mobile device push notifications to a desktop computer.
I am seeking a developer to create a Mac OS program that reads push notifications handled by Pushbullet, identifies keywords based on editable user-defined parameters, and then transcribes those keywords into a log file on a Mac desktop computer. The program should do this by integrating with Pushbullet's API. The program should also be able to detect and transcribe new push notifications in real time, with minimal delay between receiving a notification and the program transcribing it into the log file.
I would prefer the program to be written in Python, but I’m open to alternatives if it benefits performance.
I have a GUI in mind. Let's talk about the cost benefit and whether it is really necessary.
The program should be compatible with Mac OS Catalina.
The deliverable for this project should include the Mac OS program and the source code with complete annotations and comments.
Prior experience with Pushbullet's API is a plus. The goal for completion is 2 weeks once the project starts. Inquiries should include an estimate of how many hours the project will need to be completed.
