The task is to produce a dashboard from 3-4 excel data tables to present client profitability and staff effectiveness / productivity for our accounting practice, Square Mile Accounting. The requirements are scoped in detail within excel spreadsheets and the data is and it's deficiencies are well understood and documented. The data tables are about 10k - 20k records and consist of invoice data from Xero and timesheet data from our practice management platform. The data is well structured and understood.
I have a specification in excel (full working prototype) and have completed the beginning of the project in Power BI, I have loaded data, transformed the tables and have defined relationships, however, I'm having difficulty completing the job, hence looking for a professional to take over.
I am the founder of Square Mile Accounting and have a data background having worked with MS Access and Business Objects within a former career, so can be on hand to smooth over any project issues/analysis issues, but really do need a Power BI professional who knows the platform inside out.
Once we've built the dashboards, I would like to look into how we can build a data warehouse and automate the data extraction via APIs, but that can be a second phase of the projects.
Should the project be successful, we would like to develop a client service offering and therefore may have an ongoing engagement to perform similar work on client data. A nice to have for the successful candidate would be an understanding of the architecture required to deliver that at scale.
