We have an established business and brand which is tech based. We have unfortunately lost our key developer owing to the business they worked for ceasing to trade after 12 years sadly.
We now have a huge hole in our business which needs to be filled by an expert and all round development superstar. The following disciplines, scripting methods, programming and coding are a must. We require a single individual with all these skills. From experience having multiple contractors handling different areas for overlapping projects does not work

2 IIS
3 PHP, JS, ASP, vB, vBA, vBS, HTML, SQL, MySQL
4 Critcal Candidate is An Expert in vB and vBS
5 Competant Web Developer
6 Ideally Comfortable with Web Desk but not Critical
7 API Integration (SOAP, JSON etc)
8 SMTP Processes
9 MS Access Integration With web & 3rd Party API
We need a candidate who is 100% a self starter who can problem solve, and provide a proactive solution based approach. Can work independently within the brief and is able to provide concise, direct and timely feedback on job requests.
Additional Character / Technical Profile of Candidate
We will be requiring you to provide server admin responsibilities where required (2012r2 Terminal Server)
Develop and maintain a highly bespoke self hosted website with MySQL backend.
Develop web pages as requested
Understand, managed and develop both existing vB based API calls
Able to take new jobs on quickly and is an excellent communicator.
Webscrape / Process Automation Knowledge
You may need to liaise with an existing contractor for server admin who has maintained aspects of the above. This would be to gather key information, usernames, passwords etc where required in order to bring knowledge up to date for existing works to date.
You will have a proven track record which can be verified. We will be looking for this person to work with us regularly on an ongoing basis and this should be seen as an opportunity to showcase ability.
The candidate will absolutely thrive on a challenge and always have a "lets find out how" approach with any job requests. Many jobs are totally “out the box” requirements and you will need to be able to envision and deliver what presently does not exist
The right person will enjoy regular job requests from the director and friendly, mutually based relationship. The director has a fairly broad and knowledgeable background in development and is able to communicate requirements concisely
Following proposal we will need to confirm at least 30 minutes in order to provide examples of the kind of work we will need you to be utterly comfortable with. It will also be an opportunity for both parties to see of there is a relational fit as the director will be working directly with you and will handle this part of the search process.
To stress, we are looking for an all round superstar. If you have gaps in the above skill requirements please do not apply as these are a must.
