Expected duration: 1 day or less We are a UK based company specialising in touchscreen kiosks hardware and software development with a focus on the health sector. Initially we are looking for someone to undertake a review of our current software system to ensure it is fit for purpose and is in a format that will enable us to engage external software developers in the future to enhance the system or develop new modules without compromising the quality and integrity of the current system or expose us to potential misuse of source code. Our current Software System is standalone application which is installed onto Windows10 system using an executable file within our customer settings. Our software integrates with other APIs to send and retrieve data. Please note this is not a web-based application. The main language for the software is written in C#, this makes up most of the source code. The software files are configured using .json and .xml and .xaml files. All software is stored on the repository in Microsoft Azure DevOps. The software integrates with other hardware/peripherals via Bluetooth and USB and serial port. This initial piece of work should be around 1 day’s work. We envisage that the scope of the work could develop as a possible ongoing consultancy for the right person who will be able to oversee future development work to assist with defining our requirements as well as assisting with out-sourcing development work and technical support of writing bids and proposals for funding and projects.
