I am having trouble getting the occasional email (not bulk mails) delivered from my domain to Gmail addresses, without ending up in the receiver's Spam folder. These are mostly confirmation of registration emails, and the users then sit and wonder why their registration is never confirmed.
I need someone to look at the entire process, figure out where the problems are, and fix them. The job will be considered complete when I can send emails from my domain to a few Gmail addresses and they all arrive in the receiver's Inbox.
The problems almost certainly involve anti-spam measures such as DKIM, DMARC and SPF. There may also be problems with the email formatting and content.
To give you the basics: I have a Windows Cloud Server (kloofgorge.co.za), running an app I developed in a C++ web framework (Wt), which sends emails via server software (hMailServer). Mails are arriving correctly for receivers such as Yahoo mail, but ending up in Spam for Gmail. I also have a small app that sends test emails, and I can modify that as required.
