I run a training company that teaches and trains digital and marketing skills to small business owners and marketing professionals. We run live virtual trainings as well as create short online courses on digital marketing strategies and tactics.
I am looking for a digital marketing assistant to manage our social channels, support with marketing our events and workshops and potentially write content for our websites.
We can teach you the technology that we use (Canva, WordPress, ConvertKit, Google Suite) but we are looking for someone that is able to take ownership, bring their own ideas to the table and can work independently. Some of the tasks that you will be responsible for include:
Creating social media posts for LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook. Schedules posts and selects or creates photos to go with them. Has lots of ideas and knowledge about social media and is always keeping up to date with what’s new.
Designing graphics for social media, blog posts and courses. You must have good design skills and understand what makes something work visually.
Work with us to develop our social strategy and then go out and make it happen.
Repurpose existing content into compelling social media content to drive engagement and growth.
Formatting blog posts in Wordpress and inserting opt-in forms.
You may occasionally be asked to support Virtual workshops and webinars via Zoom.
Skills that we are looking for are
Strong writing skills and the ability to write engaging copy for social media, content summaries and blog posts and must have good spelling and grammar. Good design skills for social posts and banners - experience with Photoshop and Canva are a bonus. Marketing skills - know what works, how to create engagement, create and execute a content plan. Experience managing and growing social media accounts. Speed of execution - you are able to work fast and accurately.

This is a freelance part-time role initially with scope for more over time ... 10-15 hours per week and you must be available during UK working hours (9:00 - 5:00).
