Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks We are looking for a freelancer to deliver single or multiple WordPress plugins to accommodate the needs of our client who is a Freight Forwarding Company.
We created the site using Enfold WordPress Theme and we will not use another template. The plugins needs to be build independent from the WordPress theme and needs to be compatible with latest and new versions of WordPress.
Our client has already got a partly working none-wordpress site that was developed by their previous developer. The aim is to move and improve this system to WordPress. We can give access to the old system to give a better understanding on how it works.
The customers place orders by putting the cost price, dimensions and weight of one or multiple products on an order page and the system needs to calculate automatically the cost of freight and import tax and present the customer with a total. This total becomes an order with unique order identifier and allows the customer to checkout. This should send confirmation to admin and customer about the order.
Each customer should be able to login to their profile to see past orders and track active orders. The admin should be able to set the status of each order. Status names will be preset. The admin should be able to do system searches via customer name, order number or date and export from and between dates to excel format. The admin should be able to search for orders by order number or client name.
The admin should be able to print to pdf weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi annually and annually sales reports.
The login needs to be re-themed and should not show WordPress.
We will provide more detailed description for each user type. There will be 3-4 different user types including admin and customer.
There will not be any partial payments for partly completed jobs.
